Antique German Victorian religious greeting card dated 1885 featuring a beautiful Sacred Heart design.The front features an elaborate chromolithographic-style image of the Sacred Heart surrounded by roses and flowers, together with ornate embossed floral decoration and the German greeting “Meinen herzlichsten Glückwunsch.”The interior contains multiple pages of original handwritten German script. The writing is dated December 23, 1885, providing excellent period documentation and making this much more interesting than an unused Victorian greeting card.The card retains its decorative embossed borders and elaborate late-19th-century design.CONDITION: This example has significant age-related condition issues and is being sold as-is. There are tears/splits, including substantial tearing along the folds and edges, corner and edge wear, creasing, staining, discoloration/toning and general handling wear.
