This stunning Herkimer Diamond Quartz crystal is from The Herkimer Diamond Mine KOA Resort in Middleville, New York!
It is comprised of a single crystal which measures just over 2.5 inches in length with two gems attached. Excellent clarity with HUGE internal rainbows and almost no inclusions. The largest crystal features gorgeous smoky phantoms around its outer edges. Sharp edges and terminations, except for one on the bottom which has some damage. There are a few small areas of host rock contact and other surface imperfections, but this specimen is in excellent condition overall.
As with most Herkimer Diamond clusters of this size, some reconstruction was required to prepare it.Mined by hand in the Summer of 2024.
