Lot of 12 antique/vintage magic lantern glass slides featuring a wonderful assortment of colorful images and scenes.

Subjects include humorous and comic character scenes, portraits, animals, landscapes and other illustrated scenes. Several slides have a small B.K. marking visible in the image.

Includes the vintage storage box shown. The box is period/vintage and came with the slides, but I cannot confirm that it was originally sold with this particular set of slides.

Slides are in good condition for their age with expected age and handling wear. Some of the images show areas of fine stippling/dotted or crackled deterioration to the painted/color surface, which is particularly visible in the close-up photographs. Frames have edge/corner wear, scuffs and other age-related wear
