Xenophorids are unusual in that in many of the species the animal cements small stones or shells to the edgeas it grows, thus the shells of those species are sometimes humorously referred to as \"shell-collecting shells\". At one time I owned a Specimen Shell Store. All items I sold were specimen quality and hand selected. These items are from my personal inventory. If you are a specimen collector, please check back frequently. I will continually be adding other specimen shells.I have an extremely large inventory. So if there is another family or species of shell that you are looking for, let me know. I am trying to list different families other than murex, cypraea and conus. If you are looking for anything in particular, contact me. Perhaps I have what you are searching for.Thank you for viewing.
