Steel heat riser delete spacer for use in warm climates when you don\'t need or want an exhaust heated choke on your SBC. This piece fits the 1964-1975 standard passenger side Chevy small block manifolds with the flat outlet flange and a 1.9\" or 2\" outlet. It has a full round bore with no restrictions, unlike the \"Corvette style\" offerings from repro vendors that have a shoulder on each side. Does not fit the \"rams horn\" style manifold. If a Fel-pro #9097 or #60117 gasket fits, then the spacer will work for your application. Shorty version is 1/2“ thick, as compared to the stock 1\" thick, this may allow you to tuck passenger side pipe up closer to the frame, but may not fit dual exhaust systems with X or H pipes. This may also help with thick aftermarket pipe flanges where you can\'t get nuts on the manifold studs (as in pictures.) Allows you to use the Fel-pro #60985 sintered metal donut without fear of cracking your heat riser. Use Fel-pro #9097 between the manifold and spacer. Precision CNC machined in the USA.
