The K&N 63 Series Air Intake Kits (AirCharger's) are specifically vehicle matched and produce better improvements over a standard K&N O/E replacement filter. These K&N kits use a molded air tube that can reduce intake air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal design. OEM intakes are designed to make the least amount of sound while performance is usually not factored into their design. This design creates restriction that can exist between an air filter (even a K&N Air Filter) and rob a vehicle of its natural horsepower. Installing a K&N Air Intake Kits virtually eliminates this air path restriction by replacing the air filter and the entire air path to the engine. The aerodynamically engineered tube drives a massive amount of air into an engine, which translates into more power.

K&N takes the largest conical shaped high-flow air filter that can fit into the engine compartment while still being able to use factory holes and mounting location spots. Using this larger filter will provide even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard K&N O/E replacement filter which is limited to the size of the factory air box. This larger filter is also able to capture and hold more dirt increasing the service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). K&N also isolates this air filter from high engine temperature with the use of a heat shield designed to lower the temperature of the air entering the engine, which in turn increases horsepower. This high-flow K&N air filter is then attached to a rotationally molded tube made from interlaced high density polyethylene. Making the intake tube in this manner allows the tube to be precisely shaped to reduce turbulence and accelerate airflow into the engine. All connection points or adapters are made from high strength materials such as silicon and reinforced nylon and ensures long life. This intake system is legal for street use in most states. However, it is not legal for street use in California and the above states that have adopted California Emissions Standards under Section 177 of the Federal Clean Air Act of 1970. Intake systems are subject to governmental regulation in California and certain other states adopting the emission standards of the California Air Resources Board. In order for an intake system to be legal on a specific vehicle in California and the other adopting states, the part number must receive a CARB Executive Order (EO) number. This number makes the part legal for use only on specific years, makes and models of vehicles. A decal with CARB EO number for these parts must be displayed in the engine bay to satisfy smog inspection requirements.

They prefer you buy OE parts and not modify your car or truck and have even been known to void their own manufacturer�s warranty due to vehicle modification. Our goal is to have all of our customers leave us Positive response.  We also strive for a 5 Star Ratings (DSR) rating for us on .  has given buyers a greater ability to critique a seller in more accurate detail.  Along with the simple response form, a buyer can now rate a seller in 4 specific categories – (Item as described, Communication, Shipping Time, & Shipping and Handling Charges).  These DSR’s (Detailed Seller Ratings) are very important to us sellers because it gives other buyers a clearer expectation of who they are buying from and also helps us out by correcting any customer service issues that may arise. 
Basically a score of a 5 is earning a 100% and as a buyer you are completely satisfied throughout your entire transaction with SMS Off-Road.  Any rating at a 3 or below is a 50%, which is a failing grade and unacceptable in our book because we have made a serious mistake somewhere and it needs to be addressed.  If you feel you need to leave poor response or anything below a 5 for a Detailed Seller Ratings, please contact us first. This will allow us to address any concerns you might have prior to placing your input ratings.  Our goal is for all of our customers to have the best possible shopping experience with customer service being our number one priority!   
After completing a Buy-It-Now purchase(s), all buyers must go thru the checkout process to submit payment and insure prompt handling of your order.  All payments must be made in US dollars.

Payment Terms and Sales Tax

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express credit card payments through 's secure checkout system plus most forms of payment that are allowed through paypal. You may also phone in credit card payment if you prefer.

Pennsylvania Sales Tax:
State law requires that we charge 6% sales tax on all orders shipped to an address within the state of Pennsylvania. Sales tax is also charged for any order that is picked up locally. Also if a listing has a shipping charge then tax is also applied to the shipping.

Shipping Policies

Items That Have Free Standard Ground Shipping is for addresses in the Continental US Only
(Free Shipping EXCLUDES: PO Box, APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Island and US Territories. Each of the above will have their own specifc shipping charges. We ship mostly with UPS ground but will also use FedEx and USPS at our descretion. Tracking infomation is usually posted to and also emailed within 24 hours after an order is shipped.

International Shipping:
For International Shipments please check 's shipping at the top of the page for Canada, Mexico, Europe, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, Korea, and Japan. You are responsible for paying any governmental taxes imposed on your purchases, including, but not limited to any applicable import duties, local taxes, and brokerage fees. Please verify with your customs before making your purchase. Most of our international shipping is shipped though USPS Priority Mail. If you would prefer to use UPS International then please contact us for a quote.

**Multiple Item Shipping: As you purchase multiple items, they are combined onto one order. From the closing of your first item, you will have 7 days to add other items to your order.

PLEASE NOTE: Also please make sure that the shipping address that you provide to us is accurate and up-to-date. Any successful address corrections made after an item has been shipped will be charged $15.00 per box. This is the fee the shipping companies charge us for any in-transit address corrections.

We cannot guarantee being able to correct every address corrections once an order is shipped.

SMS Off-Road Inc. will ship most items to the 50 US States plus the following other Countries: Canada, Mexico, Europe, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, Korea and Japan. Certain items may be classified as hazardous and/or non-exportable. Most items will ship 1-3 business days after we receive your payment. If we cannot ship an item within 3 business days, we will attempt to notify you. This typically only happens on very large orders or if an item has become backordered.

Returns & Exchanges

1. We will offer full refund or exchange if all the following conditions apply: a. If the product is returned due to our mistake b. The buyer notifies us and we approve the request for refund/exchange. A RMA # must be generated! c. Product is returned within 30 calendar days of purchase date. 2. We will NOT offer refund if any of the following conditions apply: a. Product is returned incomplete b. The product is returned damaged due to improper Installation, use or packing by buyer c. If the product was sold as Non-Returnable or AS-IS item (will be stated in listing) 3. The S&H fees generated due to refund/exchange transaction are under the buyer's expense, unless we made the error. 4. S&H fees are not refundable. No matter what reason, if the item(s) is returned to us, the buyer is responsible for S&H again for re-shipment of the item, unless we made the shipping error. 5. Any purchases that need to be canceled per the customer's request may be subjected to a Flat Cancellation Fee that is $5.00 (due to advertising and administrative costs). The most important thing about any return or exchange is that you must contact us first in order to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA#). This is the only way that we will be able to track returns and without this info on file will cannot process a return. Please do not just send the item back without first contacting us. We will not be responsible for an item that is returned without a RMA#! Also if any order is refused at delivery any shipping fee associated with the refusal will be deducted from your return. We do not pay for return shipping! Also please make sure that the address that you provide to us is accurate and up-to-date. Any address corrections made after an item ships will be charged $15.00 per box. This is the fee the shipping companies charge us for any in transit address corrections. This fee will able be applied to any order that gets cancelled after an order ships but not delivered.
