We have been building transmissions here in Morton, Il for over 25 years. Our transmission builders have been doing this so long that they are getting tired of taking transmissions in and out of the vehicles. Also there are many local shops that have us rebuild transmissions that they take out in their own shops. The combination of these two things have helped us make the decision to stop selling to to general public and just bench build transmissions for other shops. This now means that we have about 250 fully rebuilt transmissions on the shelf here at the shop that we need to liquidate. We are listing all our transmissions on on sale for about 40% off what we sell them for locally so that we can move these remaining units. We have already got rid of about 100 transmissions.
