Warranty and ReturnsA Plus Auto Salvage - 90 Day Warranty

A Plus Auto Salvage is dedicated to ensuring that we offer quality used auto parts to both individual and business customers. We strive to test, dismantle and clean each part or assembly that we sell to the best of our ability. We want to ensure your satisfaction with our parts and products. However, if a problem should occur please contact us via messenger as soon as possible. A Plus Auto Salvage is a registered business entity of Pro-Veritas, LLC.

Most parts that are sold through Motors come with a 90-warranty unless otherwise stated. The 90 day period starts when the part is delivered to the customer. Labor warranties are not provided with parts but are available for assemblies such as engines, transmission, and differentials. In the event that a warrantied part fails to operate within the warranty period we will replace the part(s), depending on availability, or refund the part’s purchased price. We do not issue refunds on deposits, parts that are sold “AS-IS”, unwanted special order parts, or special \"cut\" items. Please message us with any questions or concerns prior to purchase! To return an item you must contact us via Messenger within the 30-day period or initiate the return process as outlined by . Additional instructions will be provided once one of these two actions have been taken. We make every effort to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied, we are very easy to work with, and we are very responsive! In the event that an eligible part needs to be returned please feel free to reach out to us for assistance!

 

Installation:It is extremely important that the installation process follows the requirements outlined in the 90-Day Warranty found under the Warranty and Returns section. Failure to follow these requirements will VOID the is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that identification numbers are compatible for all electronic parts. Many electronic automotive parts such as radios, ECM’s, and etc. will have to be reset or reprogrammed at the appropriate dealership to ensure proper performance. Electronic returns will need to be accompanied by proof of reprogramming. If a specific ID number is not displayed in text or in the part specific pictures, please request confirmation prior to purchase. Electronics are warrantied to be functional, non-defective or non-needed parts do not fall under our 90 day warranty.

 

Shipping

A Plus Auto Salvage ships to US addresses within the lower 48 states via UPS ground or via United States Postal Service at our discretion. Additional fees may apply if the buyer requires a specific carrier or an expedited handling time. Items sold under the free shipping policy will be packaged and shipped within 24 hours of purchase. Tracking number(s) will be established and posted to within 24 hours of purchase. No Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO, FPO or PO Box addresses please. Pick up at our facility is also available. Please use Messenger to arrange local pick up prior to purchase.

 

Freight Items:For items that are shipped via freight (engines, transmission, large body parts, and etc.) the destination needs to be a commercially zoned address that is equipped with a loading dock or forklift. If the destination address is zoned otherwise additional fees such as “residential” and or “lift- gate” services will be applied per the freight company. Handling times and tracking number uploads will vary for items that are sold under the flat rate freight shipping policy. Due to the volume of available freight carriers does not provide a specific place for freight tracking numbers. In the event an item is shipped via freight, A Plus Auto Salvage will send the tracking number via messenger. For customers who do not have access to a commercial address freight items can also be picked up at your local freight terminal. We can provide the address for your local freight terminal upon request! Please message us prior to purchasing for an accurate freight quote for your desired that are eligible for international shipping are handled directly through ’s Global Shipping Program (GSP). There are dimensional and weight constraints for items to be eligible for GSP. For more information on ’s GSP please visit ’s GSP help section. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us via Messenger within 24 hours for instructions.

 

Payment Policies

We accept immediate payment via PayPal only. Sales tax will be applied to all orders that are picked up at our facility or shipped in the state of NC.
For Local Pickup items we accept the following forms of payment:

“As-Is” Items:Items listed under the “As-Is” classification are typically special orders such as parts that are cut or parts that are sold at a discounted price due to blemishes. These parts are not eligible for return so it is extremely important that the buyer asks all of the appropriate questions to fully understand what they will be receiving. We are more than happy to take additional pictures and answer all of your questions prior to purchase so please message us first if you have any questions.

 

 

Wheel and Body Part Grading:A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it. All wheels sold are spun on a tire balancer to confirm that they are straight before they are shipped. In the event a wheel is found to be bent, A Plus Auto Salvage will contact the buyer immediately. A Plus Auto Salvage guarantees the wheel only. Other wheel components such as TPS units, lug-nuts, valve stems, tires, and etc. are not necessarily included unless specifically indicated. Many of our parts that are listed on are not yet dismantled and still reside on the donor vehicle. In the event that a purchased part has undocumented damage(s) A Plus Auto Salvage will immediately contact the buyer with details and options. A Plus Auto Salvage uses the grading techniques outlined by the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) for grading wheels and body parts.

 

 

Engines and transmissions:A Plus Auto Salvage has implemented a testing process for all eligible engines and transmissions before they are removed from their respective donor vehicle. Prior to dismantling the following steps are completed if at all possible:
1. Damage Assessments
2. Engine or Transmission System & Driveline Repair (to accomplish step 4)
3. System Scan (OBDI & OBDII)
4. Drive Vehicle and or Run Up To Temperature (if possible)

Our goal is to accurately document the quality of our engines and transmissions before they are sold. Available test results will be posted in the listing. Engines and Transmissions will include components that are pictured on the engine or transmission. If the buyer needs additional parts please contact us prior to purchase.

 

 

Drive Line, Steering and Suspension:Steering and Suspension components are not listed for sale if there is any question that they have been compromised in an accident. The parts that still reside on their respective donor vehicle can have concealed issues such as dry rotted bushings, worn ball joints or torn boots. Replaceable components of drive line, steering, or suspension parts and assemblies are not guaranteed and a sometimes not included. These components include and are not limited to ball joints, dust covers, boots, outer tie rod ends, and etc. If these components are of concern please contact us prior to purchase. Before solid axles and 3rd members are removed from the donor vehicle the gears are inspected for chips, breaks, or any abnormal wear.

 

 

Core Charge:CORE is an acronym for ‘Cash-On-Return’. A Plus Auto Salvage does not apply a core charge to online orders that are shipped.
