For sale are a nice rare set of 1969 3946074 L88/ZL1 427 \"Hi Perf\" rectangular port aluminum cylinder heads. Took these heads off of a 454 block I purchased recently with 500 miles break in time since rebuild. These are the very rare snowflake casted heads built in march of 1969 most likely for the L88 high performance 427 engine used in the corvette and Yenko Camaro. Based on the part number 3946074 these should have 118cc chambers. I believe the valves are bigger than stock size and I do not know whether it has been decked or not. The valve train was inspected and new parts were added as needed I was told the valves and springs are new but I\'m not guaranteeing anything.. I\'m no expert on these exact heads..the ports look factory I do not believe they were ported on either the intake or exhaust side. Otherwise I do not know much specs on the valves, springs, or rockers. I know they have performance roller rockers obviously seen but I don\'t know the manufacturers or specs of the springs, valves, and harware. It also looks like 2 rocker stud bosses one on the outer side of each head had been welded and reinforced due to the nature of the casting from the factory those spots are known to be weak points. Besides that It all looks to be freshly rebuilt and I know it had just touched 500 miles of run time therefore everything is being sold as is based on the pics seen in the ad I can take as many pictures as you need and I can even measure the size of the valves. As stated before I\'m selling these heads as is therefore look at every picture closely and ask questions as needed before purchasing. Buyer is welcome to inspect locally and pay in person.
