The weakest points on all car covers are at the seams: where two pieces of material are joined together. Ultrasonic seams leave large gaping oval shaped holes in the car cover that run the entire length of the car cover. Ultrasonic seam holes are nearly ¼” long per hole. These holes allow ACID RAIN, TREE SAP, and BIRD DROPPINGS to leak through these holes and onto your vehicle. Ultrasonic joining is an old method that requires ¼” sized holes to be punched to join two pieces of fabric together. These holes are large enough that they eventually tear over time as you stretch the car cover during installation and removal of the car cover. Most Ultrasonic car covers do not last past 180 days, but many eBay sellers don’t care because feedback on eBay can only be left within 60 days of the product purchase date. We use Nanosonic seams that are tiny in comparison to the ¼” holes used in the antiquated ultrasonic method. This provides for a stronger cover that will live up to the daily pulling that occurs when you install and remove your cover similar to how a simple t-shirt can withstand the wear and tear of daily usage. How does your cover compare to other eBay sellers’ covers?
We are the only seller that sells a true 5 LAYER cover at this price. If you look at what other eBay sellers’ layers are made up of and see this picture and statement in the auction, then you are buying a 3 layer cover that is being marketed as a 5 layer cover.

You will only see 3 layers in this kind of material and no other box markings indicating that it is really a 5 layer cover. These types of sellers will buy a 3 layer cover, repackage the item, and ship you the item in an unmarked brown box because they do not want their supplier to find out that they are selling a 3 layer cover as a 5 layer cover. Our car covers will come with an original manufacturer’s printed box indicating that it is a true 5 layer cover and not some repackaged 3 layer cover being sold as a 5 layer cover. A good question to ask other eBay sellers is: “Does this item come with an original manufacturer designed box stating that it is a 5 layer cover on the box?” If the seller says “no”, then the item is being taken out of the original manufacturer’s box stating it is a 3 layer cover and being repackaged in a plain brown shipping box, so that you will not know that it is a 3 layer cover.

What is the difference between Nanosonic Hot Welded Seams vs. Ultrasonic Seams?
Nanosonic hot welded seams have an additional hot welded strip running across all of the seams. This seals the seams 100% shut, preventing any elements from leaking through the seams. Ultrasonic seams do not use any stitching to hold the cover together. Instead it punches holes into the seams to hold two pieces of fabric together. This leaves ¼” holes in the car cover that allow ACID RAIN, TREE SAP, and BIRD DROPPINGS to leak through and onto a vehicle. These holes also allow the car cover to tear very easily over time because the holes are ¼” large holes. Imagine wearing a t-shirt that was held together using only punched holes. It wouldn’t last very long and the elements would pass right through the holes.

What is your return policy and money back guarantee?
We are very easy to work with and offer a refund less shipping at any time as long as the car cover is returned in new condition. This means you could return the car cover in 1 year from now if you don’t like it. You should really look for each seller’s return policy located in their auctions under the “terms and conditions” section. Many will claim a lifetime warranty and 180 day money back guarantee. However, if you read closely in their “terms and conditions” section, you really only have a 7 day period to try out the cover. That is not much time to try out a cover and see if you really like it because it takes a few days for the item just to arrive at your door.

Does your car cover have grommet holes?
Yes, our cover is equipped with grommet holes on both sides of the cover. You can use these holes to tie or lock down your cover using the supplied string (cable lock not included).

Are underbody straps safe to use?
No, straps are not recommended to hold down any car cover. When straps are locked down tight against a vehicle’s paint, it can scratch the car when wind blows because the straps are made of a rigid nylon material that is rubbing against your front and rear fenders. This is the same reason why it is never recommended to cover a vehicle when transporting it on an open bed trailer using nylon straps because the straps can damage your paint.

How should I dry a wet car cover?
Since all of our car covers are 100% breathable, the best way to dry it is to put it on a clean car since the moisture will evaporate through the cover.

I have a garage, so why do I need your 5 layer car cover?
Unless you own an air filtration system from an operating room, your garage is full of dust and microscopic abrasives. If your car isn’t protected, these abrasives stick to your paint and damage it.

Will this cover fit my vehicle listed in the auction title?
This auction is for an outstanding quality semi-custom cover and is not a fully custom cover. Fully custom covers cost $300+. Any car cover on eBay priced under $300 is a semi-custom car cover as well. You can confirm this by e-mailing the seller and asking them if their cover is a fully custom cover. We always welcome customers e-mailing us for individual vehicle measurements, so that they can measure their vehicles to ensure exact fitment prior to purchasing. We have sold thousands of car covers to customers with your same vehicle over the past 13 years to customers on eBay as well as outside of eBay, and our customers are very pleased with the fit and superior performance of our car covers. Our car covers are much higher quality than any of our competitor's car covers, and that is why we are the only ones that are capable of showing such detailed photos and descriptions of our products in our auctions.

Why is your S&H cost a little higher than other eBay sellers?
Because our cover is truly made of a full 5 layer fabric and is at least 2 times heavier than the other sellers’ covers. You will see a big difference in the thickness and durability of our covers, resulting in a slightly higher S&H fee. Our covers weigh 7 lbs to 16 lbs depending on size.
