Ford big 6 owners now have a new manifold option when it comes to upgrades on their 240, 300 or 3.9L Ford inline 6 cylinder.
Aussiespeed has used the technology, expertise and knowledge that has been acquired to develop intake manifolds for some of the worlds most popular hot rodded 6 cylinder engines in the all new Big 6 design. AussieSpeeds R&D never stops, and their manifolds outperform the decades old designs offered by others.
The center fed 4 barrel design offers a longer runner than other manifolds and a cross sectional port area that will help it perform from just off idle, to way up in the rev range.For those wanting even more low end: we also offer the AussieSpeed Plenum insert AS0084 for this intake(shown in photo 4). The plenum insert shifts the rpm range of the manifold by boosting velocity and jumping up bottom end torque even more. The manifold has a fuel dropout tray cast into the plenum floor and with the plenum pig mounted centrally in the manifold it removes plenum volume for those looking for the most torque and pulling power. These are flowbench and dyno tested, not just a gimmick. They really are effective at shifting the power to a lower RPM range and adding more low end torque. These can be purchased separately for in my other listings for $129, or in a package deal with this manifold also available in my other listings.
The manifold has a fuel dropout tray cast into the plenum floor as well as provisions for fuel injectors or nitrous oxide on the cylinder head flanges. These are made from a very high quality aluminum casting(not brittle or soft), with nice thick walls; so you can drill and tap them without worry.

The carburetor flange allows for the SQUAREBORE Holley, Quick Fuel and EFI throttle bodies using the same flange bolt pattern as Square bore Holley carbs. The dual drilled bolt pattern allows for carbs to be mounted d in either the \"North/South\" (think \"traditional\" and V8), AND \"East/West\" (think sideways... which more evenly distributes air/fuel at part throttle).
Don\'t to ask about our awesome new finned aluminum valve covers and side plates for your 240/300, and well as matching air cleaners and breathers too!There is also a 2 barrel version also available (part number AS0524) for those wanting to run a 350 or 500 cfm 2bbl carb.
