This listing is for a custom engraved Radiator Hose Clamp for AMC Hornet's. It has engraved into the band of the clamp thehornet's "Bee"logoand "HORNET" Lettering (see pictures).

This itemstarted as an IDEAL Brand worm gear Hose Clamp Size #28.I figured out a way to hold the hose clamp in my CNC Machining Center, and I engraved the design right into the Stainless Steel Band of the Clamp. The IDEAL Brand Hose Clamps are one of the few clamps that are still made in the good ol' U.S.A. (Size #28 isthe common size for radiator hose clamps, It fits a wide rangefrom 1-1/4" to 2-1/4", which is most radiator hoses). Taking a picture of the hose clamp proved to be very difficult. I don't think the pictures doit justice,it reallyis a nice looking custom part.

You may be wondering "Who careswhat a hose clamp looks like?". And to be honest, most people probably don't. But there are people (like myself) who really appreciate the small details. I have a set ofcustom engravedhose clamps on my own car that I bring to car shows (It's a 1973 Hornet Hatchback), and you'd be surprised at the number of compliments I receive about such a small detail item.
