With years of Hemi power-tuning experience on both the Dodge Ram pickups and LX-series sedans, AIRAID® Filter Company has taken Hemi air-flow management to the next level by developing an all-new Cool Air Dam (CAD) System specifically for the 06-07 Dodge Charger/Superbee SRT8 6.1L w/scoop. AIRAID’s newest SRT8 Intake System takes advantage of the cool outside air that the Dodge Charger SRT8 hood scoop provides and feeds it directly to a computer-designed Cool Air Dam for more horsepower and torque. In fact, on the chassis dyno, AIRAID’s new Hemi Intake added an additional 14 rear-wheel horsepower and 16 lbs-ft of torque over stock.AIRAID’s newest SRT8 system features a roto-molded Modular Intake Tube, which signitficantly improves air flow over the restrictive stock tube. Another dynamic feature of the system is a Hood Scoop Adapter Tube that seals directly to the underside of the hood’s air scoop creating a ram air effect.
