DESCRIPTION:

Designed for cars with SINGLE HUMP trans crossmember, with exhaust routed down one side around the trans and then back over at the mufflers. For cars equipped with factory catalytic convertor, additional Y pipe with rectangular flange is available seperately.Please specify when ordering.

Exhaust exits out the side like factory.Rear exit under the bumper also available.Stainless rear tailpipes,the same as factory on the Monte Carlo SS, are available for additional costs.Contact us for info.

The advantge of mandrel bends verses your typical muffler shop press bend is , with a mandrel bend you have a mandrel inserted inside the tube to maintain the tubes diameter throughout the bend. Usinga MANDREL BENDERIf your bending2 1/2" tube, that diameter will be the same in the bend area. When a press bender is used, the tube is pressed at the bend area reducing the tubes diameter by as much as 20%. Meaning, if your using a 2 1/2" tube, in the bend area the tube will be reduced or crushed down to 2 1/4". This will reduce flow and HORSEPOWER!!!!

With MANDREL BENDS you will increase FLOW + HORSEPOWER!!!!

For an easy installation, this kit comes with all the clamps and hangers as well as detailed installation instructions.
