This is a genuine 5867 Code Malibu SS 2dr Convertible! 283/220hp Turbo Fire V8, 4 bbl carb, Powerglide Auto,PS,PB. This is an unmolested numbers matching and correct- ORIGINAL MOTOR car! Some restoration has been done to make this a great driver/local show car.
All orig/NOS interior. Original bucket seats, Saddle Tan vinyl upholstery, chrome console, and arm pads. New carpet, dash pad, and door panels. Brand new, supertight, white top, rear window, and tan convertible boot.
Recently finished a complete drivetrain and suspension rebuild. Also fitted with new brakes & lines, radiator & hoses, tires and exhaust from the motor back. Carb has been rebuilt and the gas tank sealed. Runs strong as new, starts on the first turn of the key. Tracks straight at 80 mph, steering has a good on center feel.
Beautiful brilliant Saddle Tan Metallic paint- pictures don't do it justice! Body boast ALL ORIGINAL panels, rust free, no visible dents, with only one parking lot scratch on the right front fender (see pic). All chrome, accents, and stainless including hubcaps are in good to very good condition- shows great! Includes all receipts for the work completed.
