NUMBERS MATCHING 1969 Chevelle SS 396. No expense has been spared in the restoration of this Chevelle. Equipped with its original JK code 396/325hp engine. T0617JK is stamped on the block pad and the VIN is stamped by the oil filter. Build date on the cowl tag is 06D. Car has a show quality paint job in the correct and very rare code 72 Monaco Orange with a white vinyl top. Monaco Orange paint was only available with the SS option. Car has new Parchment Interior. Less than 200 SS Chevelles came from the factory in 1969 optioned with this color and interior combination. Also equipped with TH-400 automatic transmission, Factory Air, Power Steering, F41 Performance Suspension, 12 bolt rear end (code CX0528B), Power front disc brakes, Original Delco AM/FM radio, 5 original SS wheels all with new BF Goodrich T/A radials. Car also comes with Protect-O-Plate and broadcast punch card. Engine, trans and suspension were completely rebuilt during restoration. This Chevelle has had less than 1000 miles put on it sense restoration was completed. Currently equipped with new Holley Street Avenger Carburetor and Edelbrock Performer 2 Aluminum Intake. I have the original GM Intake and Q-Jet carburetor. Also equipped with Hooker ceramic-coated headers and 3” Torque Tech Performance Exhaust System with Flow Masters. This Chevelle has spent its entire life in Texas. This is one of the most stunning Chevelles’ in the country, no disappointments. 99% rust free car with perfect hood, body panels, floor pans and trunk pans. Car runs, drives and looks new. Undercarriage is extremely clean and rust free.
