1966 Chevelle Malibu Convertible for Sale

I’m selling this beautiful 1966 Malibu Convertible. This car was recently restored before I purchased it in late 2006. It’s a #'s matching engine and transmission. Both were completely gone through and redone. The exterior was redone also (there are a few chips though). The paint job is Base Coat Clear Coat and the color is Marina Blue. The top is White and was new also. The interior is completely new. The carpet, door panels, seats, dash, and boot, are all new. Under the hood is very clean. The previous owner smoothed the firewall and it looks great. The car has ceramic coated headers and flowmaster mufflers. The V8 - 283 engine casting # reads, 3849852. The engine and transmission, (powerglide) are both the original ones but the transmission was rebuilt last year. The car drives awesome. It is so smooth and yet will surprise you on how much power it has. The wheels are 17" American Torque Thrust Wheels and were new also when I purchased it. I replaced the suspension system with a Hotchkis system with Global West front upper and lower control arms. Over $4,000 invested and really hugs the road. I also installed an original looking but custom made AM / FM radio with 6 disk changer, Memphis Audio amp and 5 speakers and bass to give an awesome sound. Over all, this car is in great shape and a great driver. Right now, in my opinion, this car needs nothing. It already has power disc brakes, and power steering. The only thing this car lacks to be the ultimate cruiser is Vintage A/C. As far as it being ready to cruise, well all you need to do is get in and go. I did not restore this car, however all pans, both floor and trunk look great. The body is very straight and seems to be very solid. The previous owner wanted well over $40K for this car, however my asking price is only $34,999. Feel free to come and inspect the car in person. Delivery is available.
