1966 Ford Fairlane 500 for Sale

This beautiful 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 is 98% restored. It is all original except for the duel exhaust, the wheels, the air breather cover and the power steering unit which makes the car handle much better than manual steering. It could be totally original for very little cost. Have many spare parts to go along with the car, including OEM Ford letters for the hood and trunk and many trim parts. Has new Ford carpet, the seats have been recovered with Ford materials. The 390 motor has been completely rebuilt from the crank up. Using GT parts. Motor was bored .030 Comes with a Holly 850 duel feed. The motor has about 21000 miles on it. My dad and I began restoring this car and it has been kept inside an insulated garage since then. The car is Carolina Blue Original which we had repainted in original color. Has never been driven in the rain. No rust anywhere. The motor is very strong and fast but has never been to a drag strip or raced. Comes with a C-6 Cruise A Matic Transmission and the big Ford 9 inch rear end. We bought the car from the person that bought it new. Have all documentation on motor rebuild. It has always been a North Carolina Car. I don’t think it has ever been out of state. We only drove the car enough to keep it in good working condition. Must see to appreciate. I would hope that any potential buyers come and drive the car to truly appreciate it. If shipped buyer must assume shipping charges. Would allow any mechanic to check out car or have it set up on a Dino to check engine. This car was left to my son who is in the Military and has decided that he wants to sell it. It was my dads car, and he and I have worked on the car for years until my dad passed away 2 years ago. The title is clear and in my name, so there won’t be any problem with a sale. The engine has 21,000 miles on it since rebuild. There is 157,187 miles on the odometer. We had extensive work done to the suspension, so the car drives and rides like new.
