Gray market import direct from Germany with Autobahn experience. Normally aspirated 3.0 liter flat six. 74,000 original miles - only 10,000 miles since engine rebuild. Engine by Raysich of Porsche Specialties, Pittsburgh PA. High compression European pistons, upgraded oil fed chain tensioners, all new rotors, bump steering kit, nylon sway bar bushings, sport exhaust and upgraded Carrera sport clutch. New alternator pulley and belts. K&N air filter, Hella headlights, Recarro SRD sport seat on driver’s side, original sport seat on the passenger side. Momo competition steering wheel. Mounts for 4-point harness. Current PA State inspection.

While European 911’s came out of the factory with 20 more horsepower than the version sent to America, this car now boasts even more horsepower thanks to a complete engine rebuild. With pistons that cost $1,000 each and none of the pollution control that chokes off the air, this car breaths free and the performance shows it. No AC or vacuum pump to slow this one down. This is not a concourse car but a reliable driver that looks good and does as well on the track as it does on the street. Never been raced. Garage kept.

History In 1978, Porsche introduced the new version of the 911, called the "911SC". It featured a 3.0 liter engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a 5 speed 915 transmission. This was the start of what are considered the most reliable 911's yet by collectors. Porsche AG decided the long-term fate of the 911. In 1979 Porsche had made plans to replace the 911 with their new 928. Sales of the 911 remained so strong however, that Porsche revised its strategy and decided to inject new life into the 911 editions.
