1955 chevrolet Nomad straight axle gasser For Sale

you are bidding on a 55 chevrolet Nomad straight axle  gasser. I bought this car in the late 60's. It was raced at Spokane Internalional Race track. The car sat for years and my son restored it in the early 80's.  The car is extremely rust free and the body was metal finished at the time. It is black with flames. Features a one piece fiberglass tilt front end. At the time the car was built to drive on the street. It is street legal and not set up for the track.Speical features of the car are factory power windows (work well}  tinted glass. A wolverine front drum brake straight axle right out of the 60's. A 350 cu chev  with Weind high rise 2x4 holley 450's. Lakewood bell housing and muncie 4 spd. Centerline wheels front and rear.  Interior is period correct rolled and pleated.with bucket seats. Car was painted in the mid 80's and shows minor pateena of the years.  Cars paint code is 616 (white with a green top) and it is a very early model #417 making it one of the very first Nomads made.
