1965 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe - all original For Sale

This is an all original Impala that I bought in 1985 and I am the third owner. The car sold new in Durant, Oklahoma and was built in the St. Louis GM plant. Several  Oklahoma inspection stricker reciepts are included.  The brake system and transmission have been rebuilt, however the engine has never been opened.  The interior is in original mint condition except the seats were redone in the convertible option in the mid 1990's. The milage is 68,900 miles and it had 32,500 miles on it when purchased. All weather striping has been replaced about 4 years ago and the car was repainted in 1986 in the original color of Mist Blue in clear coat.  The paint in that era was lacquer and was badly oxidized. The shop manuals and showroom manual are included. This a great crusier with no-radio and a 283 V-8 that gets 26 miles to the gallon on the highway. The radiator was rebuilt in 1997 as no replacement could be found becauce of the factory air conditioning system. The wheel covers are a facotry option and were re-chromed in 1995. This is a clean southern car with no rust and goes out when there are no clouds in the sky.  I drove it to Manhattan, Kansas from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in January 2011 with no problems, she drives great at 60 MPH.   $24,000
