With a six figure investment cost combined with a most exacting builder we have the planet’s most prime example, undoubtedly. Matched with the fact that the car has 2099 miles on her, you know this example was made to be driven and enjoyed. This has never been a race car and has never seen any track time, so the mileage was not accumulated 1/4 mile at a time. The Barracuda is still in fresh, mint condition so wherever those miles were accumulated was a very careful environment. Careful doesn’t begin to explain the record keeping regiment that was followed along this car’s production. Every important component and detail that went into the production was ensconced in plastic, categorized and filed with the precision of a nuclear scientist. There are no unanswered or open questions about the pieces or totality of what is presented and on offer here. I have had the pleasure to represent 7 figure price tag cars on down the scale and I have never been able to hand a buyer a portfolio like the one this one carries.Let’s begin the story. The car is equipped with the race-correct set up of front end fiberglass pieces. Placed inside is the industry leading Indy Cylinder Head engine which carried out the build and fitting of the fire breathing Hemi. The 432 CI has been dynode @ 511 HP and 502 lb.-ft. of torque. Of course none of those matters if you are using special race fuel and can’t get further away than line of site from the track. This one runs on 92 Octane which can be found on almost every street corner in America, like drug stores. Mated to the power plant is none other than the perfectly matched 727 transmission with a forward manual valve body. When you work your way to the rear of the car you will spot the DANA 60 set up with the True Trac TorSen-style LSD from none other than Moser.Legendary was used for the restoration of the interior and the car’s cabin appears as it should have back in 1968. Well, not really, I’m sure it is better. Redline was used to sort out all the gauges on the dash and the owner himself restored the dashboard from the bare metal to the padding and then into the covering. From the fitted carpets to the headliner and all the bits in-between, what an immaculate and well executed interior cabin. Step back and gaze at the exterior. The Ruby Red paint is as deep and mirror like as any application I have ever seen. It was formulated from the 2002 Chrysler color chart and is brilliant. The bright American Racing Mags wrapped by BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s frame the picture beautifully, as is the entire car. This wasn’t built with just a strong drive train or eye appeal. This car is indeed the full package. A package that has earned multiple awards and trophies, featured nationally in print. This car is the blue chip blue print for all those with the money, time and expertise, who wish to follow.World’s Finest Indeed………………………   If you have any questions about this or any of my other auctions please feel free to contact me via e-mail or you can call me at (317) 535-3500.
