1969 CAMARO THAT IS ROCKET FAST FRESH BUILD ON A 400 CUBIC INCH V8 ENGINE BORED-BALANCED-BUILT FOR SPEED REBUILT 4 SPEED m21 MANUAL TRANSMISSION...NEW CLUTCH AND PRESSER PLATE DRIVE AND ENJOY QUALITY PAINT THAT SHINES LIKE A BLUE DIAMOND  NICE BLACK INTERIOR++ CLEAR GLASS COIL OVER CONVERSION ON THE FRONT-END AND HOTCHKIS REAR SPRING CONVERSION     MILEAGE:    5289 reading and I'm sure  another 100,000, but its a restored car.   TITLE:  Clear Tennessee title in hand.   VIN:  123379N647929   FACTS OF LIFE::::This is a very good, very solid, beautiful car! Its not a roll out of the trailer perfect show car with a $20,000 paint job. The paint is nice, the interior very good, it drives good, it runs LIKE A SCALDED DOG, it stops good and things work. I don't sugar coat my decripton like a car showroom does, I'm a mechanic so its more like an inspection. I do not put cars up for auction and have my buddies bid them up. I list the cars for what I'll take and have sold every car I have ever tried to. My listings make me sound harder to deal with than I really am. If you read my decription 2 times you will find the answers to most of your questions. I tell you where I'm at, what it takes to buy the car, the defects on the car and play no games. Thank you in advance for reading my listing. I GUESS THIS IS THE OLD MAN ATTITUDE!  THANKS Ron Watson    IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS?       No rust bubbles, no holes on the under-side of the car, I see a couple of places on the flat bottoms of the floors that have been patched, but the underside looks solid.   IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE?  None that I can find.   WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR?     I?m a retired mechanic/auto-mechnic instructor/was a Army helicopter mechanic and instructor. When I find a truck or car I like for a good price I buy it fix things and resell for a fair profit.   IS THIS A SUPER SPORT CAR? Probally not, it has the look and the painted strips. I did not run the number to see, becuase this is a highly modified car, "lots of things have been changed and upgraded".   IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? No! The engine, the transmission and rear end have been replaced and up-graded.   PAINT:  The car is beautiful, it has a brillant shine, it has no dents, no cracks and no bubbles. The paint is by DuPont, the color is Intense Pearl Blue, I have a little left that the past owner gave me. This is only a drive and enjoy quality paint job, it looks good, but if you look for a defect you will find it. It is a base coat clear coat paint that is very slick and shines like a diamond, but if you look for defects you will find some. By some I mean this: 1. At the lead line on the top I see some small areas that are a little darker, the top is leaded on to the side top at the rear with lead at the factory. This area causes a big problem on the 69 Camaro, the lead has to be sealed super good or some kind of chemical action causes drak and light sports and in some cases bubbling, in this case small dark areas. It sounds worse than it is, but if you were here you could see it. 2. Some specs in the paint. 3. If you run your finger under the lip on the front fender you will find where the tire has rubbed in years past and it is touched up.   The paint is beautiful, its just not roll out of the trailer show quality, you will see defects with the critical eye inspection, they will not show up in pictures.   CHROME:      All the chrome is nice, the bumpers, emblems and door handles look new. The stainless that goes arount the windshield looks good, but not new. The tail lights are a high $$$$ after market that look nice.   INTEROR:   Good interior, no wear, no smoke smell, the dash has no cracks, the door panels are good, but the narrow chrome trim is pelled in some place. The head-liner is good, but has 1 hole about the size of a quarter over the drivers head.    UNSERSIDE:    Nice, clean and neat, but not for show, its built to drive, I see a couple of places that may have been patched, I think the floors are original.   GLASS:   The glass all looks very nice, no cracks, only 1 small wiper mark on the drivers side down low.  The side windows roll up and down good.   ENGINE:    The engine has less than 100 miles on a fresh rebuild, "it is very strong". Its a non-original 400 cubic inch bored .060, it has vortedk heads, balanced, line bored, all new internal parts, a nice looping cam, new 770 Holley carb, Hooley red electric fuel pump and pressure regulator, a new large aluminum radiator with a shoud and electric fan.   EXHAUST SYSTEM:  Great sounding dual exhaust, it has the real Muscle Car sound, it does have the large cam tingle.   TRANSMISSION:   The transmission is a 4 speed manual that shifts good, its a rebuilt unit with a Hurst shifter, the clutch, fly wheel and pressure plate are new.   REAR-END:    No whines or growls, its a rebuilt positive tracion 3.73 gears.   BRAKES:  Good, the brakes stop straight, they are factory drums that pass owner rebuilt.   STEERING:   The cars drives very good, it is power steering.   WHEELS AND TIRES:      20 inch Coy wheels and good tires.   LIGHTS:     They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, the marker lights work, the dome is working.    GUAGES:   They all work! They are old school in a pod under the dash. Volts work, oil works and temp works.   SPEEDOMETER WORKS !   WIPERS WORK!  GAS GAUGE WORKS! HORN is not working (car has a aftermarket steering wheel and the horn buttons are junk.   The sound system is good, its a Alpine radio with CD, the rear speakers are JL audio and the amp is Alpine.   UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR:  The frame and all the mounts look good, the flat bottoms of the rear passangers floors have been patched with fiber-glass (it does the job, its just ugly).   HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE?    I think the doors fit and open very good.   TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard!   The rest of the information is boring unless you are really interested in buying the car, its just buying details like shipping, paperwork, who I am, where the car is located and how to pay and contact information.   CONTACT INFO: my cell is 423-506-8987, I do not answer when driving, while meeting with people, after about 8:00 PM Eastern Time or on Sunday morning or Sunday nights. Please leave a voice mail and I?ll get back. I do check my emails several times a day.      cell    423-506-8987     email:  dreamcar@live.com     PAPERWORK: I know what to do! WE DO NOT HAVE A SHOW ROOM WITH OVERHEAD! We are just a father/son 2 man operation, but we are a Tennessee licensed/bonded car dealer and have sold cars all over the US and exported many.   THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION, THIS IS A FIXED PRICE LISTING: I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time and sale the vehicle ?come look?.   I RESERVE TH RIGHT TO STOP THE LISTING AT ANY TIME. THE CAR IS FOR SALE ON THE LOCAL MARKET.   WHERE THE CAR IS LOCATED:  The car is here at my garage in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee, we are 50 miles south of  Knoxville. Look at a Road Atlas and follow interstate 75 south from Knoxville. I live one mile and one turn from the interstate exit. My zip code is 37303. The closest large airport is Knoxville. Athens does have a good small airport, but has no commercial flights.   WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM:  My name is Ron Watson and I live in the small town of Athens, Tennessee ?Athens is called the friendly city?. We are located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee. I am 65 years old and work with my son Keith who is now 39. I am now retired and living my dream restoring, selling and improving classic cars. For 12 years I was an auto mechanics instructor at Tennessee Technology Center here in Athens. I am also a veteran of the US Army; I served as a Chinook helicopter mechanic, crew chief and instructor in the late 60s, I did spend a year in Vietnam.  I?m Southern Baptist faith and proud to be an American.  I?ve been married to the same good woman for almost 42 years. LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GREEN HILLS OF EAST TENNESSEE!   TRANSPORT: EBAY MOTORS gives 3 instant transport quotes if you click on the link on my listing.   US OR EXPORT ?the best?:  Classic Car Transport, LLC located in the Kansas City area: This is a very good company that will handle any type of transport in the US or overseas with the white glove treatment. Call Jeremy Whitley at 913-749-0936 "You can google Classic Car Transport and read about them".                                            Email jeremyw@classiccartransport.com   MY AREA CODE FOR TRANSPORT: The area code for Athens, Tennessee is 37303. I live 1 mile off a major interstate (I-75) and 35 miles south of interstate 40,  so transport is usually very fast.   PAYMENT: I require a $250 deposit for a Buy Now or to hold the car. I will take this by PayPal, but not full payment.            Option 1: Pay the old school way face to face.          Option 2: Pay by check, I will wait till the check clears, I have had                           a fake bank certified check.                                                                           Option 3: The safest is to let our banks handle it, my bank is a                            member of the US Federal Reserve, this is called wire                            transfer.            INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspections are required to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 64 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. I judge the car to my standards, this may not be yours. Paid inspectors are unpredictable, you might get a good one, but most of them do not impress me at all, most really don?t know what to look at, they make a good car sound bad on the report. They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself.  I don?t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don?t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first!   TRADES: Please no trades!   BOTTOM LINE:    My price firm price is $24,850 and I'm asking $26,850 on the local market. The game is not rocket science, ask a price and come down. It?s not fun to bargain over the cell phone all day long with people that live 2000 miles away and are not going to buy anyway. My firm price is the Buy Now price. I have sold every car I have ever tried to, so I?m not motivated to be bargained down.   PLEASE!!!!!!   PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Come look at this vehicle. Please don?t hit the Buy Now button unless your ready to really buy it! Do your research, call me with questions, read my feed backs, I am ebay verified; this means they say I?m a real person in a real place.   I WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SELL YOU THE VEHICLE WITH-OUT AN INSPECTION; YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF NERVE AND PLEASE DON?T BE A CRY BABY.   Read the ME section on the upper right hand part of the listing marked seller info.   Thank You, Ron Watson                  cell: 423-506-8987        email: dreamcar@live.com   IS THERE A WARRANTY?
