Well if you are reading this you know what you are looking at, a very nice example of a rust free Arizona car with a one time repaint. Some rechroming was done, detailed engine compartment, with the Famous DeSoto Hemi and push button automatic, perfect interior, wide white tires and N.O.S. origional hub caps. No repairs were ever done on floors or rockers or anything !!! Stainless exhaust and a real beautiful color combination. Please do not ask the reserve. This 1957 (last year of the hemi) is truely a fine example of the 1950's automobiles. From what we know, my friend bought this car from an estate and has owned the car for the past 17 years and the person before him said it was bought from a museum in Arizona, and he had the car for quite some time. This car was NOT a frame off restoration and the miles are real, it was a repaint only with some cosmetics done at one time. This is a relist and the reserve is lowered. A few experts have said that a few things are not right with the restoration or the detail work, please buy the car and correct the WRONG items. The car was driven recently and preformed very well, no hesitation, transmisson shifts correctly and brakes work fine, all the lights worked including turn signals, headlamps brakes lamps etc. The motor had a lifter tapping but after it was driven a short distance it quieted down.
