This is a very nice example of a 1970 Buick Wildcat convertible.In1970 approximayely 1500 of these cars were produced. This one with the Wildcat 455 producing 510 ft/lbs of torque and I think 365 horsepower. It is a bright red exterior color with a tan covertabile top. Both paint and top are relatively new. Both front and rear bumpers have been rechromed and has the styled steel Buick wheels that are in prettty good condition but not perfect.Over all a very stunning example for the car and year. The interior seat covers have been redone in a white leater and is pretty much flawless as are the door panels. The carpet is black and in exelent condition. The dash pad is perfect with no cracks or fading but the woodgrain on the insturment cluster could use replacing, not terrible but is on my to do list. The arm rest on the door panels are in good shape with the tops being recovered in the same white leather but the bottoms need to be redyed. No big thing. It has an aftermarket stereo in it and the power comes on but there is no sound, not sure if the speakers are even hooked up or not.All in all a VERY presentable interior. The top is power and works somewhat but I think the cylinders need to be bled.It needs a helping hand. Was working well a year ago.The engine is strong ang smooth and the auto trans shifts smooth as well.Believe it or not,I took it on a 200 mile trip a little over a year ago and got better than 20mpg and no oil consumption. Not bad for a 455.The only problem I can think of under the hood is that it needs an A/C clutch. All mechanicals are factory original.Oh,and I would say the tires have at least 75% tread left. All electrical is good except for the tail lightsBrake lights don,t come on and part of the drivers side tail light also.I was told it it possiblly is a head light switch bad.It has not been my daily driver so it has not been my top priority.Thru me and the previous owner it has always been garaged.I just take it crusing and to car events. The last car event was last September where it won 1st place in it's division at the AACA meet here locally.I also have the build sheet laminated that goes with the car and I have a clear NC title. All in all a damn fine car.If sold I will request a $1000 non refundable deposit 2 days after auctions end and payment in full before the vechice is released from my property.Anyone is welcome to come inspect the vechicle and encourged to do so before auctions end.If I can help with shipping in any way I would be happy to do so.Thanks for lookin.
