Description 1960 Austin Healey BN7 UNDER RESTORATION One of the most desirable Healeys to own is the 2 seater-version of the 3000 MKI roadster with its simple to tune H6 carburetors. It retains the classic elegance of the classic 100-4 two seater configuration enhanced by the longer wheel base of the big Healeys. Feature such as a 145 hp, 3.0L engine, disc brakes, alloy body panels and weighing under 2400 lbs make this car deliver driving performance far above the early cars and only dreamed of by the later, heavier touring cabriolets. There were less than 1200 of these cars produced which makes it an ideal car for the collector and a perfect car to show. This example is a very solid car which has spent it's whole life in southern California and still wears the California black plates. The car was born in Old English White with a red interior and at some point underwent a partial color change both inside and out. This car is being offer for sale before it undergoes a complete restoration so that the purchaser can choose the color combination to suit them.
