Halloween Special (in feburary). While this IS 1 of 2211 1971 Plymouth GTX's built it is 1 of only a handful in this color combination. Ive owned this car for 5-6 years now and it doesnt look like im gonna get around to restoring it anytime soon and space is a premium at my place so I decided it best to sell this one instead of letting it sit outside. It is a highly optioned two tag car in the very desirable orange and black color scheme and is about 95% complete but if u dont see it in the listing I dont have it. I am providing a good pic of the original fender tags so anyone interested can see all the options this car came with but some of the rarer ones are: N96-air grabber hood, A36-3:55 sure grip, C62- 6 way seat, G11-tinted glass, N85-tach, R26- AM radio with cassette player and V7X black longitudinal tape stripe all backed up with the original build sheet. The car has been off the road since 1984. The body is rock solid and ready for final body work and paint. I DA'd the whole body just to break thru the years of oxidation and sprayed it with a tinted sealer (roof too) just to protect it while I decided what to do with it. I have the COMPLETE air grabber hood assembly from the switch to the door in the hood. I also have a standard bore G440 hp block that has a casting date of 2-7-71, this is correctly date coded for this car as its build date was 5-13-71. I also have the original #346 heads, original #'s intake, original #4966 AVS carb, original 6 pack rods and 6 pak balancer. I dont have a crank but know a guy local who does. Its the correct forged crank and he wants $200 and thats less than the going price. The interior is still pretty nice. The door panels still have alotta life in them not all dry and cracked up. The T handle shifter was broke but they are available for $75. As u can see from the pics the floors and trunk are rock solid. No rust at all. The doors, fenders, hood and deck lid (with cut outs for spoiler) are just as nice. Even the front and rear valances arent beat up and the rear one has the cut outs for the dual exhaust tips. All the glass is good. The grill has a few teeth missing but I have a good one thats included. Really just a great car to restore. It has power steering and power disc brakes. Besides a few engine parts/accessories the only parts I dont have are the side view mirrors (available on ebay any day of the week) and the heater box. I do have a parts heater box that you can have but its not complete. youll have to scrounge it on ebay. I also have a set of the dual exhaust bazooka tips that arent show quality but would pass for anywhere else for $125 and I have a correct #3443959 radiator that has been recored with a 4 row core. That radiator is $1200 on the after market but I will sell it to the winning bidder for $900. The new core was $450 alone. The tips and radiator IS NOT included in this auction.   This cars pictures speak for themselves but there is no substitute for a personal inspection and I urge all bidders to do so as there is no accounting for indiviudal taste.
