Up for auction is a 1967 Pontiac Firebird 326 HO, Power-Glide automatic, with believed to be original 91,000 miles. The car has been in a private collection since September of 1982, where it was stored in a climate controlled storage, and driven on limited occasions. The car is what could be considered a survivor of some sorts, as it appears to have been repainted at some time in its 44+ years since production. The original color was reapplied, but shows signs of checking, overall the paint is very good with a nice shine, but is not perfect. The body panels are very straight and solid, with what appears to be original sheet metal. The floors are very solid, as is the rest of the underbody. I tried to get pictures of the bottom, but they are hard to show the real condition of the bottom. The undercoating is peeling in a lot of spots, and looks like rust, but it is the gold paint on the floorboard showing, some surface rust, but very solid overall, the pictures make it look worse than it really is on this one for sure. The rocker panels are very solid, and again I took pictures to show them. The exhaust has some surface rust on it, but has no leaks. The engine is the 326 HO with the correct intake and 4 BBL Carter AFB carb, the engine starts and runs smooth with no issues. The factory exhaust manifolds run into dual exhaust in factory location, with aftermarket mufflers that have a nice tone from the exhaust. The trans shifts normal with no noises. The factory Ralley wheels with trim rings and center caps are in good condition on all 4 corners as are the whitewall Bias-Ply tires, with even tread wear. The car runs down the road straight. The brakes operate normal with a firm pedal from the power brakes, and with no pulsations. The factory fuel tank was replaced with a reproduction tank, which is a nice addition to the underside of the car. The interior is the original with wear consistent of a car with 91,000 miles on it. It is not perfect but is in very good overall condition. This is a true classic that you could drive to any car show with pride. The car shows very good and although is not perfect, it really shows the part of a true survivor. I try to describe cars as best as possible, but with this being a car that is 44 years old, the car is sold with no warranty and no guarantee and is sold as-is. If you have any questions about the car, please ask. International buyers are welcome, we will assist in shipping, but shipping costs are sole responsibility of the buyer. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close, full payment due within 7 days, unless other arrangements have been made.
