Up for sale is a rare 75 Trans Am, factory 455 4 speed car, 1 of 857. This car has not been restored, and is in it's original condition. The motor and transmission are not original, but I did locate the correct year WX code motor, and the correct year Borg-Warner Super T-10 4 speed. Although not shown, I do have the correct Hurst shifter as well. The engine has the correct 6H heads, and the intake/carb setup is the original one for this car, as are the exhaust manifolds. Luckily, the previous owner swapped these original parts back to the car when they removed the blown original motor. This WX motor has also been rebuilt, and still has the assembly lube on the cam. I was going to clean it all and apply new assembly lube, but didn't have a chance. I recommend this be done before start up. In the trunk is the original jack, and uninflated original space saving spare. The interior is in above average condition for this year model, and still has the original radio. There is very little rust on this car, (will need a lower patch panel behind driver rear tire) and none in the floorboards or trunk pan. All glass is in good condition. This car came from New Mexico, and I aquired it from a 30 year owner family. Car was stored indoors for most of the time which is why it is in such good shape. As you can see, paint is pretty much original. That is the original hood bird and shaker scoop decals. The cars suspension is in good shape and tracks straight. This is a factory non-AC car. If you're looking for a good, mostly original and rare Trans Am base to start with, here she is. I really hate to let her go, but she needs a new home, and someone to put her back on the street. I've already done most of the hard work in locating the year dated original parts. I do not have the PHS documents for this car, but it is the real deal. You can see on the core support the sticker which indicates the 455 ci motor, and manual transmission. You may think the price is high on this car, but when you start out with a mostly non-rusted vehicle, you end up spending a lot less on the restoration. And for the fact that this is a low production Trans Am for the 75 model, it will only increase in value. NADA Classic Car values this car anywhere from $25,000 to $45,000 so I think my pricing is very fair. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like, and I'll answer as honestly as I can. God Bless, Good luck, and Good Bidding. * Ok, we're down to the nitty gritty, last few days on the sale of this rare 75 TA. This car is truly special being one of the last cars you could buy at that time with a 455 HO, and a 4 Speed. No one but Pontiac had the guts to put big engines in their car lineup during the gas shortage of the mid 70's. An icon of America that wasn't afraid to buck the system! The price of these cars do not decrease with time, and finding an unrestored original that is not rusted is close to impossible these days. Anyway, just wanted to throw a few more good points in about this car.  * I decided to make this a little more interesting. The price is now a lot closer to what I would really like to get for this car. It wasn't easy finding a 75 WX code 455 for this car. And a 75 Borg Warner 4 Speed. I will not put this car up for sale at this price again if it doesn't sell at the end of this listing. I was really more curious on what kind of response I would receive. I had a couple good offers, but this car is worth a little more for me to let it go. With that being said, I'm happy either way.
